Petros Inglessis: The innovative founder
In 1890 P.INGLESSIS store was established at the city center of Athens. It was one of the first Watch Shops in the capital of Greece.

The founder Petros Inglesis, was a wealthy Athenian.The store gained rapidly the attention among the citizens of Athens. Famous businessmen, politicians, the royal family, actors, actresses, athletes and many artists of that time, were all devoted clients of swiss watches bought by "Inglessis" store.
1950
Orfeas Inglessis: Le bon viveur
During World War II Petros Inglessis died and left the business to his wife Anna. In the 1950s, the son Orpheas Inglesis took over the administration and renovated the store. Citizens of Attiki region remained faithful to "Inglessis" Watch Shop & Watch Service.

Inglessis store has been the very first store in Greece to have launched luxury watch brands such as ZENITH and OMEGA watches, while according to oral statements by Orpheus, Inglessis was the first retailer of ROLEX watches in Greece.
1989
Efthymios Papadimitriou & New era of
Efthimiοs Papadimitriou was a close associate, friend and financial advisor of Orpheus. In 1989, Efthimios bought the shares of the company.

The professionalism of Efthimios Papadimitriou and the know-how and support of his friend Orpheus, "Inglessis" store entered a new era. Running a successful course and ranked up to one of the most updated Watch & Jewelry stores in Greece, in Inglessis shop you could find full collections of Luxury Branded Watches and Fine Jewelry of high aesthetics.

Efthimis' son Yannis and daughter Katerina were initiated into the business from a very young age. Nowdays, OROLOGOPIIA P.INGLESSI SA still carries its long tradition and heritage as a family driven business.

Renovation & Modernization
In 2003 the store was completely renovated with respect to each Brand's positioning and promotional needs, creating a more friendly invironment for the client. In 2013, one of the most modern and up-to-date e-shops of its kind was created with great care and professionalism. In 2021 we completely renovated and expanded our store creating a more luxury and elegant environment for you. Our e-shop also gets a lift-up to match our refreshed store and offer you an easy and convenient buying experience from your home or office. With respect to our customers and our great heritage, we continue offering the best quality of luxury and high-end products.

We have Authorized Watch Service department located inside our store, since our day of establisment 1890. Authorized Watchmakers run a free check and take care of your watch in partnership with the Official Brands' Service. You can now enter our Watch Service store through a seperate front door on Stadiou street.
